Refurbished in 2008, this popular traditional hotel is conveniently located in a quiet residential area, a 10-minute tram ride from the Old Town Square and Prague Castle.

The hotel is close to the National Gallery of Modern Art, the fairground and the exhibition centre. Excellent transport links provide easy access to the city’s sights, especially as the hotel is not far from Prague Castle. Housing stylish and spacious, warmly decorated rooms, the hotel also offers well equipped conference facilities. A breakfast buffet served in the ballroom provides for a good start and the grill restaurant on the ground floor serves a wide range of savoury dishes. The internet café enables you to stay in contact with family, friends and colleagues.

The staff is happy to assist you with buying tickets for the opera, the theatre, for city tours and orders taxis at fixed rates.

Our room was nice, clean and calm. Breakfast was pretty good.

The staff at the reception wasn't friendly.

It was really great that I could use FreeWiFi. However, It could be better if they have non-smoking Free WiFi area since I hate smoke. Except for this, the hotel is quite good in total and good location to stay. There is the tram stop for three trams (No.17, 12, 14) to go to the main sightseeing points within 3~4 stops. Two of them are running near the river and the view at night was so great!

All beers in Phara, including Bottle/Can beers, was great, except for beers at the bar in the lobby of Belvedere, which is quite disappointing.

Clean rooms, great location to public transportation; friendly staff; good breakfast (included in rate); good amenities (filled minibar)

Lack of air conditioning required open windows that faced street- street noise was hard to sleep through.

nice waiters at the restaurant, capucchino at the bar was cheap

the staff at the reception desk was unfriendly, room was quite dirty and dusty, towels weren't changed and used cups were not cleaned away, loud music at night

The room was very comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities. The prices at the lobby bar were much cheaper than in the main tourist areas

The breakfast was ok. The cereal choice was poor. Also little fresh fruit other than an apple salad.
