Hotel Bristol Zurich is a three star hotel situated in the heart of bustling Zurich city, yet in one of the quieter areas of the city center. Indeed, this traditional city hotel is only five minutes walk from the main railway station. Its central location makes the Bristol an ideal base for a tour of the old city, a shopping expedition or a visit to the University or Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. Both tourists and business travelers appreciate its friendly atmosphere and reasonable prices. The rooms are small to medium sized and are very simple in both style and standard. However, they are clean, comfortable and in fair condition.

Nothing special, not bad as a 3 stars hotel in Zurich. The location is very good.

Nothing is so bad. The prices in Switzerland are very high.

Good spread of food for the breakfast. Helpful and responsive receptionists.

Poor security - doors have no peep holes nor inside latch. On our last (5th) day of stay the key failed to open the door probably due to malfunctioning lock. Also bed mattresses are lumpy and pillows are flat - overall rather uncomfortable to sleep in.

The free buffet breakfast was more than expected, and with a large selection of items. Location of hotel is great. You can walk to Bahnhofstrasse in less than 10 minutes.

The double room with single bed was extremely small and cramped with minimal furnishings. Bathroom was clean and well kept. However, I would recommend you bring your own soap. (They only provide little one inch squares).

Very clean, warm, friendly staff, quiet, great location. Good breakfast selection

Room a little bit small. No tea/coffee making facilities and have to pay 3 chf for tea/coffee in lobby.

It is near train station and quiet

the double bed is too small for two persons!we had to use a table to extend the bed

Proximity to main train station. Very decent breakfast.

Size of both the rooms we had was very small. Room on the 5th (topmost) floor, which was supposed to be "much better and worth the extra 10 Sfrs" had even less room than the noisy (because of workmen adding extra space to the building) 3rd floor room. And the heating did not function in the room or the bathroom of the more expensive quarters. After we complained, we were given a portable radiator
