The Central Plaza Hotel is a genuine turn-of-the-century hotel with exceptionally high standards, completely renovated in 2001. The hotel boasts large and relaxing lounges, as well as excellent restaurants and piano bar with live entertainment. It is the most centrally located hotel in Zurich, right at the Central Square, between the main railway station and the old town, overlooking the Limmat River. Step aside and you're literally in the heart of Zurich's business, theatre and entertainment area. Bahnhofstrasse, Zurich's most popular shopping street, the banks, several museums and art galleries are only few steps away.

Very central location; easy to get to all major sights and transportation. Comfortable beds. Attractive piano bar that drew a good crowd.

Restaurant was very busy and understaffed, but it was Christmas Eve. Food in the bar was still very prompt and tasted great.

Very kind staff. Location very good for City trip. Tram stop and main trainstation very near.

Room was very warm and a bit small. Strong smell of airfreshener.Since Tram stop was very near (10 mtr); in the night the windows cannot be open because of the noise of trams.

elevators far too small - and one of the two was not working. given that for security reasons the stairs are not useable, the wait can become quite long

its location is very good, combined with value for money. Rooms are reasonably new and clean. It has a fitness room thats ample even if small. most hotels dont.

ventilation in room could have been better, but not a huge problem.

The location is fantastic
